Within Cieszyn’s Historical Library participation in the project of “Protection and preservation of Cieszyn’s writing heritage”, the system of monitoring conditions of historical collection storage and access was upgraded.

The obsolete loggers used in the storage rooms, two exhibition rooms and two reading rooms were replaced with a modern system of temperature and humidity control.

The system is equipped with 10 sensors remotely connected to two collectors, which transmit the signals to the central database. The data is also available via special software, which is basically used for viewing, but it also indicates alarms on exceeded parameter settings and allows detailed reviews of measurement history.
